During the major growing season for grass, Advantage Landscape, our landscape vendor mows every 7 to 10 days on an, unfortunately, unpredictable schedule, which is significantly impacted by the weather. In the fall when growth slows, mowing is less frequent based on observed need for mowing. 

You do (or don’t)! Our community has no watering systems.  If the grass on your lot is going to grow well, you are going to need to water it.  Grass on public spaces depends on the kindness of lot owners who may overspray a bit or simply on rain water.  

Lack of water is one of the major causes for poor grass growth and appearance.  Watering systems are expensive and we don’t have any.  This is a choice the builder made for us. Perhaps we will be able to add water of public spaces over time.

Our trash and recycling bins are picked up each Wednesday (often very early), except when  certain Hollidays impact their schedule.

The town of Leesburg publishes a schedule on a calendar on their website (you will need to search for your address and then look at the calendar they provide. They show Leaf and Brush pickup on Mondays through out the year.  It also shifts at times but not a worry for most of us.

When I scanned their schedule for 2026, the only non-Wednesday pickups for us were after Memorial Day and Labor Day in both cases moving our pickup to Thursday.
